There he was exposed to a diverse array of dj music provided by large multiroom parties. His love of Funk, Jazz, Latin and Disco led to him playing organic house sounds. His love of very late nights led to sunrise sets at outdoor parties as well as a residency at Tommy Africa's while living in Whistler. Back in his hometown of Victoria He has been pushing his favourite sounds via early work with Primitive Sounds, then Wide Open Media before settling into his own project- Lock Tight Entertainment. The last year has seen him back away from promoting in order to hone his sound as a dj. At this years all vinyl jam on the renegade stage Dj Primitive will play a throwback set of those dusty sunrise sounds that brought the whistler heads back out on the dance floor to light up and throw a groove down.
